Morello is the cherry on top of Croydon development plansTweet
Menta Redrow Limited is all set to launch the exciting third phase of Croydon’s £168 million Morello new homes development.
Morello is a flagship project, created with the aim of turning a largely derelict site next to East Croydon station into a vibrant, sustainable new community.
With Mayor, Boris Johnson, describing Croydon as ‘London’s third city’ investors have already bought up almost all of the first stage of the development, Maraschino, and nearly two-thirds of the second stage, Santina.
The third phase, Rainier, now being launched, offers a range of contemporary one, two and three bedroom apartments, all built to the highest specifications, including an on-site concierge service and exclusive gym.
With access to London in just 15 minutes, this third phase will deliver 900 new homes, a hotel, apartments, a gym and cafes. It will also create a pedestrian link from the revitalised Addiscombe area, to the new station bridge, and the new Westfield Croydon.
Craig Marks, chief executive of Menta, said: “These are exciting times for Croydon London as it enters an exciting new era.”
“We are excited to be part of Croydon’s continued renaissance with our partners Redrow plc and will put Croydon back on the map as a place to live.”
Morello is viewed as a tangible demonstration of Addiscombe’s rebirth as it is being built on the site of the former home of the Bank of America, which left Croydon in 2012 taking more than 1,000 jobs with it.
- Morello offers a wide range of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments within a secure development, which has underground parking facilities and plenty of green, open space.
- Prices start from £259,995, with each apartment boasting a high quality contemporary specification.
- Morello is situated on Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon CR9 6BY.
